INFO

What I do

Visualizing stories through nature-inspired minimalism.
I transform complex messages into refined visual languages through branding, editorial, and web design. My work focuses on building unique brand narratives by blending organic forms with a minimalist aesthetic.

My background

Bridging academic rigor with professional practice.
Currently a final year Graphic Design student at Fanshawe College graduating April 2026, and a design intern at Noetic Marketer. I combine solid theoretical foundations from my studies with the sharp, practical insights gained from industry experience to deliver high-quality design solutions.

My approach

Intentional design with a quiet depth.
I pursue aesthetics driven by intention, going beyond mere visual appeal. By utilizing the beauty of "emptiness," I create spatiality where users can breathe within the design, staying true to my belief in the power of focusing on the essence.

Career

[2026-2026] Design Intern at Noetic Marketer
[2025-2025] Freelance Graphic Design co-op at Fanshawe College
[2023-2026] Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design at Fanshawe College

shane says [Questions]

Why the name 'shane [says]'?

To me, design is more than just a visual; it is a form of 'speech' that a designer delivers to the world. shane [says] represents my commitment to capturing daily inspirations and moments of comfort, translating them into a visual language defined by brackets [ ] and periods . to communicate with the audience in real-time.

What are the core values of your design practice?

I prioritize 'Empathy' and 'Scalability.' Beyond creating aesthetically pleasing outcomes, I focus on the emotional resonance of the user experience. I constantly explore how a brand can break out of the screen and come to life in physical environments, much like my 'Zero-Trace' guerrilla marketing experiments.

What does your creative process look like?

My workflow follows a structured path: Discovery → Strategy → Visualizing → Implementation. I place a particular emphasis on the implementation stage, ensuring that the design isn't just a static image but a functional experience that seamlessly integrates into the user's space and daily life.

How do you handle projects with strict constraints or limitations?

I firmly believe that 'Constraints are the mother of creativity.' Whether it’s a tight budget or strict regulations—like when I pivoted to AirDrop and shadow projections when physical attachments were prohibited at school—I enjoy the challenge of finding the most unconventional and effective solutions within those boundaries.

I’d love to collaborate! How can I reach you?

I am always open to new ideas and collaborations. You can reach out via [Email Address] or through my social links below. I’m always up for a conversation over a warm cup of coffee to discuss how we can bring an idea to life.
